the story
The Pinard family began its activities in "Made in Oléron" products in 1889 and has never stopped since. Discover in a few key dates and figures the passion that has driven this family for generations
1889
Georges Pinard, the great-grandfather from the island of Oléron, started cultivating the first hectare of vineyard, the beginning of a beautiful story.
1922
Birth of Jean-Louis Pinard, the grandfather. He would later take over his father's vineyard and expand it to 5 hectares.
1950
Jean-François Pinard, the father and third generation, is born. He marries Liliane with whom he expands the vineyard to 40 hectares.
1975
Maxime Pinard was born and took over his father's vineyard at the age of 22, after studying oenology and viticulture while still in business school in 1997.
2002
Maxime married Isabelle, with whom he had two daughters, Aurore and Caroline. They develop the bottling at the estate and direct sales.
2019
Maxime married Isabelle, with whom he had two daughters, Aurore and Caroline. They develop the bottling at the estate and direct sales.

Whether you are more of a hotel, gîte or camper, the Pinard group welcomes you to one of its accommodations
It is not 1 but 2 hotels that the Pinard Group can offer you on the Ile d'Oléron. Both are just a few steps from the ocean and its large and beautiful beaches.
We also have a gîte for 7 to 9 people in the heart of the vineyard: 110 m2, 3 bedrooms each with private bathroom, large living room, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, terrace with garden furniture,... And many other facilities to discover.
The motorhome parking area is located 1km from the village centre of La Brée les Bains and the beaches with a cycle path 20m away for easy access.
